Haji Mahdi Aqa the merchant from Salmas, the son of Haji ‘Abd al-Karim the merchant, has assigned his nephew, Haji Mirza Aqa Muhammad Riza the merchant, as the executor of his will and Haji ‘Ali Aqa the merchant as the overseer. They are responsible for paying his debts and determining one-third of his belongings to be spent on the religious expenses of his will. The document reads in part: Haji Mulla Husayn, the preacher, settled 1500 tumans and a man [three kilograms] of salt with his three sons, Aqa Mirza Muhammad Riza Khadim, Aqa Shaykh Muhammad Baqir, and Aqa Shaykh ʻAbd al-ʻAli. Land settlements, 1846 to 1858
Haji Badi‘, son of ‘Ali Muhammad, had assigned Aqa Hasan as the executor of his will. He asked Aqa Hasan to sell a piece of property that he had purchased to pay back his debts and to use the rest for other expenses, such as hiring people to pray and fast on his behalf. On March 20, 1846, after Haji Badi‘'s death, Aqa Hasan sold this property to Haji Mirza Muhammad Husayn, the guardian of the deceased's underage children, for forty tumans and five thousand dinars.
